The 4th Day of Christmas Joy
Gingerbread
Lattes
I don’t know
what it is about these lattes, but I am totally addicted. It all started about
a week and half ago. It was a cold morning here in Raleigh and I was headed to
one of my favorite coffee shops to get some work done. I was looking for
something more than just a cup of coffee and for whatever reason that
gingerbread latte just shouted out to me from the menu.
OH – MY - GOSH…..it was
so good! With my eyes glued to my laptop like my life depended on it, I reached
for my latte to take another sip, when nothing came out of the mug for what
felt like several seconds, I realized it was all gone L I am sure I looked like an idiot staring at the bottom
of the mug and then looking around to see who could have sipped my latte while
I was fixated on my computer. Surely, I did not drink that whole thing already.
Anyway, since then I have lost count
on how many I have consumed, but I can assure you that I have not hit my quota.
My favorite one so far has been from Benelux in downtown Raleigh, my second
fave goes to It's a Grind with Starbucks taking 3rd place. Since Starbucks is
genius and has a location everywhere, I succumb to sipping my 3rd favorite most
often (it's a rough life). Just like today, I walked into Target to grab a few
groceries not even thinking about gingerbread lattes and bam.....there was a
Starbucks. Of course I had to have one.
That simple little pleasure....
JOY!
