The 14th Day of Christmas Joy

The comfort of friends and family!

I have got to be honest….I am having a difficult time mustering up any joy right now after the horrific and extremely tragic event at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. My heart breaks for all of those families and children impacted by yesterday’s events. Words can’t even describe the feeling. Praying for all the family, friends and loved ones affected by this tragedy.

While searching my heart for an ounce of joy this morning, I came up empty. There will be nothing under any Christmas tree that can deliver any comfort, joy or solace that a loved one can provide. The ONLY joy I could gather this morning is found in the people that God has placed in my life.
