Go and Connect with GoConnect

The words real estate software and innovation hardly go together, and frankly, it is not a very riveting topic for the general public - except when you are talking about two of my friends Jim Garman and Zach Schabot! JG and Zach were two founders of Go Realty in 2010 and they have teamed up again to develop a pretty cool checklist app for real estate agents called GoConnect.

We’re not talking about one of those websites that helps you search for homes, there are plenty of those.

GoConnect is an app for real estate agents designed to help them be more organized and productive. With each home sale, there are dozens of tasks that have to get done in order for your home to close on time and the transaction to go smoothly. Some agents rely on automated real estate CRM programs, some rely on excel spreadsheets and some rely on sticky notes and writing on their arm. Not exactly a fool-proof method.

Aside from the fact these two guys are my friends (and I am huge gadget guru), I think their idea is going to be a huge benefit to agents because they’ll be able to better serve their clients. When I review the latest and greatest tech tools it always comes back to this question - will it help improve my relationship with my clients?
I think this one will....

Why Go90X you ask?

Why not Go90X

In all seriousness, this is one of the many reasons why I chose to hang my hat at Go Realty.

Go is always looking for fun and innovative ways to help and support their agents to be the most successful we can be all while having fun.

At the heart of it, just like anything else, it is just basic hard work that goes into any recipe for success. So this month I will be hyper focused on calling my sphere, writing my peeps, checking the inventory all while showing & listing homes.

For someone like me (shiny, bright object over here syndrome) this keeps me focused on what matters most. Structure.an excellent antidote to anyone with “shiny, bright object syndrome,” especially me. And, this is why I say yes to Go90X.

The fact that I will win a brand new iPad has nothing to do with it, I promise. Well..maybe a little. Okay more than a little. Alright fine.yes, I want an iPad. There, I said it.

The 24th Day of Christmas Joy
Recovering Joy
Sunrise at Jupiter Island, Florida during my joy filled ride
I was so excited today to be back on my bike after a long bike sabbatical, riding along the beach, during sunrisethree distinct things that bring me a lot of joy! I was taking it all inthe huge mega mansions around me (think Celine Dion and Tiger Woods), the peace of the early morning, the coastal sounds, the salty air, thinking about how happy my heart was and how I would write about this later.

While taking in all the sights around me, I paid no attention to the sand dune that jumped out in front of me to interrupt my bliss. As soon as my brain processed what was happening, I found myself on the ground with my feet still clipped into my pedals. My hands throbbing & bleeding from the road rash, my joy filled bike ride now SUCKED & the pity party commenced!

I seriously considered calling it a day and phoning the hubs for a pick up. I was not seriously hurt and knew that I could make the ten or so miles back to the car. I just needed to suck it up and put on my big girl panties.

My pity party continued as my biking buddy and I rode back to our cars. I wasn’t enjoying my surroundings anymore. All I could think about was getting this ride over! My hands were stiff, throbbing & I had a numb bum from the lack of riding.serious pity party in progress!

For whatever reason, as I rode back, I happened to notice two men & a dog on the sidewalk out for a morning stroll. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the dog was a service dog that was being walked by one of the men, while the other man was in a wheelchair. The kind of wheelchair that was probably customized for him - like this is his life, not a temporary condition.

It was that moment that God smacked me back to reality. Pity party over! I realized that I was indeed able to ride back with very minor injuries that will go away very quickly. Not being able to temporarily use three fingers has made me even more thankful for my very healthy and able body. And, in just a moment, I became very thankful for this mishap that brought me back to reality and recovered my lost
JOY!
